Day 2 Tokyo - 7 Days 6 Nights Itinerary – Japan (Part 2)

Day 2 Tokyo - 7 Days 6 Nights Itinerary - Japan (Part 2)

31Th March - Day 3
Tokyo

Capsule hotel where we stayed is very convenient, close to JR station, KFC, game center, Japanese cafe and restaurants, and also there is Starbucks nearby where I love to start the day with a cup of Hot Chocolate :D :D

  • To capture a beautiful view of Tokyo Tower and Sakura, we visited Zojoji Temple. Many people recommended this spot to view Tokyo Tower and I declare it’s true, I love every snaps I got here, so beautiful.
  • To reach Zojoji Temple, take a train to Hamamatsucho Station, Exit B2. Zojoji Temple is just a brief walk distance.

Tokyo Station and Tokyo Imperial Palace

  • Tokyo Station is only 3 stations away from Hamamatsucho Station.
  • From Marunouchi Exit, on the way to Tokyo Imperial Palace, enjoy and take some pics of the elegant Tokyo Station Building.
  • We take a slow walked from Tokyo Station to Tokyo Imperial Palace, enjoy the weather and the view.
  • Since it’s Spring and today is Sunday, a lot of people visited the Imperial Palace and we met with the long queue.
  • After the long queue and security check, we finally can enjoy the scenery in the Tokyo Imperial Palace. There are park, palace, Sakura, and it take a long walk, hihihihi… Make sure to use comfortable shoes. We sit for a while and enjoy the sun and Sakura in the East Imperial Garden.

Harajuku

  • We spent the noon here. Again, it’s Sunday, so the crowded is crazy. It’s a bit hard even for a walk ^^’
  • We plan to try a famous Crepes stand here for an afternoon snack, but because the crowded and we barely able to walk ahead, we decide to try the nearest Crepes stand. It’s really refreshing, Crepes and fruit, never though it would be quite delicious.
  • We also had the opportunity to enjoy Japanese Pop Street Music, take pics in the super famous Takeshita Dori Sign, and overall we love the day.

Shinjuku

Another shopping center in Tokyo, we can easily find local and international brands here.

Tekko Building

Bus head to Kawaguchi embarking from Tekko Building, situated in the left side of Yaesu/ North Exit, Tokyo Station.  There's a beautiful alley full of Sakura and lighting just across the building, so took sometime to snaps there, hehe......

Kawaguchi

  • We took the 2 hours bus from Tokyo and arrived at Kawaguchiko St. 10.30 pm. In early April, the winter wind still freezing cold, so we hurried to the Station lobby and hope to find some warm, unfortunately it was the kind of open lobby and no warmer.
  • We exit the station and follow other tourist to a 7Eleven just across the station. We used WIFI and talked to the shop keeper for direction to our inn. He’s kind and informative, even gave us a map and some pinpoints. Since this’s a budget trip and we tried to save money, we decided to walk the 1 km distance to the inn. We pulled our suitcases and walked in sequences at the side of the road.  After 40 minutes walked and some dramas, we finally arrived at the inn.
